Ultrakill Ido

The Final war.
A 200 year long war started by humans and ended by machines.
Technological progress allowed for blood-fuelled machines to turn the tide of war. A land version of the Dreadnought effect, making obsolete all that came before.
Soon, machines were designed to create the machine created to crush the previous generations of machines endlessly.
In the end, the Earthmovers ended the system.
The city-destroying titans that forced the world to its knees.
Whatever was left of the German Empire and whatever was left of the other nations took refuge on these behemots, forcing the war to shift to the backs of these monsters, carried on by more agile machines.
Germay needed a breakthrough. Something to break the stalemate. To win the war.
Contracts were awarded, and prototypes were built. Only the two remained in the competition. The prototypes designated as V1 and 1d0.
High command was leaning towards the V model due to its easier control and containment in case of rebellion or reprogramming, coupled with the cheaper self-repair nexus.
But the war ended before any decision was made. It died out as the Earthmovers turned off one by one. And so, the New Peace rose from the ashes of the Final War.
There was no need for for a war machine, so both prototypes were mothballed and stored away.
After the death of mankind, no one would have ever known of the machine's existence. Or did they?
An angel descended to Earth to make sure that mankind was truly dead once and for all, just like the Father inteded before His disappearance.
Inadvertently, while exploring an ancient bunker, the angel accidentally reactivated the dormant machine.
1d0, in dire need for blood, attacked instinctively, with the intent of refuelling itself to continue its directive.
After refuelling, the machine needed more. There wasn't enough blood for its survival. If it wanted to uphold its mission, it needed more.
Searching the base, it learned about the fall of mankind, and of the Hell expedition, alongside Hell's coordinates.
As of the last records, the machine has been spotted int the 7th layer of Hell:Violence, thriving in the war he never was able to participate.
